This notice covers the website sideshore.tech. The Ledgerman app for Jira has its own privacy policy; the app uses no analytics and no cookies.

What we measure, and why
We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages people read, where they came from, and which links they follow (for example to the Atlassian Marketplace, to book a demo or to download the template). Our Google Analytics account is linked to Google Ads, so that we can tell whether our ad campaigns bring visitors who try Ledgerman or book a demo. We don't use the data to personalise ads or to show ads to past visitors (remarketing), and Google signals is off.
- If you accept: Google Analytics sets cookies that recognise your browser on later visits. It records page views, approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, the page that referred you, and the links you click. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. If you arrived from one of our ads, a Google Ads cookie links your visit to that ad click, and a trial or demo click is reported to Google Ads as a conversion.
- If you decline, or before you choose: no analytics or advertising cookies are set. The site still sends Google a cookieless signal for each page view (Google's consent mode), which Google uses only for aggregated, modelled statistics and which can't recognise you across visits.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time below; this doesn't affect what was collected before.

For Google Analytics, Google Ireland Ltd processes the data for us under Google's data processing terms. For Google Ads conversion measurement, Google acts as a separate controller under the Google Ads Controller-Controller Data Protection Terms. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics keeps the event data for the retention period set in our account and then deletes it. See how Google uses data.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of data about you, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Write to go@sideshore.tech. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or the authority where you live.
